Sweeping up!

Thinking about winning sweeps and contests while laboriously entering hundreds each week is fun, but actually winning something is awesome. I've been entering sweepstakes since I was a kid. My mom and I filled out countless 3x5 cards and spent quite a bit in postage in the hopes of winning big. My biggest win back then were a Fuji 35mm camera. As an adult one of my most exciting wins was a Kenmore upright freezer and $100.00 in frozen food from a Kroger writing contest. My twins enjoyed a talking Dora doll I won in a Nickelodeon sweeps. 

I took a break, but I'm back at it and recently won a Marvel Comics t-shirt and a World Foods gift basket. It only takes a little win to become hooked! I'm entering as much as possible and find most of my contests through http://www.online-sweepstakes.com/. They include blog contests as well as major sweepstakes from big corporations. 

I'll be keeping everyone posted on my wins, (I'm hoping for many, many more), and will add to the list here as they come in. 

Hopefully I can inspire a few readers to become sweepers too...just not too many, (competition you know)!
